Colorado... have you had an adventure lately?

Colorado Mountain Majesty It’s a cool crisp Colorado morning and the sun is breaking. The snow tipped Rocky Mountains are transformed from purple majesty to fiery orange and yellow in an instant. You look about and see your same look of awe on the faces of those around you. You know why you chose to be here today.

Welcome to our adventure planning guide. This web site has been developed for your quick and easy exploring of Colorado's adventures. So, what do you want to do today? If you are vacationing or live here (on permanent vacation like me) a new day brings so many choices for fun.

The outdoor activities are amazing. With over 300 days of sunshine each year there is plenty of time for your favorite adventure. We enjoy camping in the great outdoors with stories around the campfire. Viewing the wildlife is really amazing. In Estes Park the elk and deer roam right through town! One of my favorite pass times is just staring at some of the most awesome natural wonders on God's earth.

Fly fishing in mountain streams is entertaining, especially for those watching me. I usually get my line caught in a tree, so I tell everyone I'm after tree bass. Lake fishing with the good old pole and bobber is usually safer for those around me and it's a lot of fun.

Boating, skiing, kayaking, and jet skiing on beautiful lakes are a great way to spend the summer. Biking up the mountain or my preference, riding up the ski lift, then riding the bike down the mountain is a good workout with amazing views.

If you are looking for an adventure that really gets your heart pumping you need to try rafting down one of Colorado's whitewater rivers. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, try a float down a calm section of a river, throw in a fishing line and enjoy the scenery.

For those that enjoy the hunt, that is, finding just the right gift to take home to Grandma then Denver has the adventure for you. Our Metropolitan cities have all the name brand stores and our mountain towns have the most unique shops one could ever find. We certainly can't forget the fun music and art festivals in our Colorado cities and charming mountain towns. Great shopping and theatrical events are waiting for you.

The state of Colorado has some wonderful vacation information. They have divided the state into 7 regions for easy reference.
