Images of Colorado

I am awe struck every time I watch the sun rise on the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The sunsets are pretty amazing, too! You will never forget the brilliant colors ... the oranges, yellows and reds fill the sky surrounding the "purple mountain majesty". Truly the hand of God has touched Colorado.

I love wandering the mountain trails with my camera in hand in hopes of capturing the splendor of Colorado. Each season brings its special enchantment to the Rocky Mountains. The mountains come alive in the spring with beautiful wild flowers and newly leafing trees. The warm sunny days of summer and cool evenings let the trees and foliage thrive. The fall is my favorite time of year in the mountains. The cool crisp days bring the amazing color changes and the Elk start bugling. The winter snows frame the mountains in quiet beauty (and it is great for skiing, too!)
